The rifle is named for its Grayboe Ridgeback stock that features customizable LOP and comb height. Ridgeback Rifles feature medium Palma with a 5/8×24 threaded muzzle. The Ridgeback stock has integral M-LOK attachment points for mount accessories like a tactical laser or IR illuminator. The Bergara Ridgeback uses AICS pattern detachable magazines.
